Where To Find It

Comic Life software is available on the FC Library Dell computers (lab and main area) and on the MacBooks. No Internet access is necessary.  Click here for a free 30-day trial available for your personal computer via plasq, the software developer.  

Paid iPad and iPhone apps are available via the Apple App Store.

Requirements

Comic Life is purchased software and available on designated computers.  No user login is required.  Comic Life files can only be opened in Comic Life software unless converted to a PDF or JPEG file.

Comic Life is a computer software program (available in the Morton Library/Media Centers) designed to create comic pages from digital photos and/or scanned art. Program features:

  • drag-and-drop interface 

Comic Life supports the digital graphic writing genre - the visual representation of knowledge.  It appeals to reluctant or struggling readers, to students who read fluently but struggle with writing, and to those looking to make creative curriculum connections.  Projects can be printed, emailed, converted to PDFs, and posted online.
