Featured Technology: Padlet

Application Ideas:

• Current Event Reporter: Have each student post a current event link with a quick summary!
• Alternative Endings: Students can each write a new version for the last part of a poem or piece of literature. 
• Guess Who or Guess What: Create a digital (Padlet) wall of people or concepts and only provide clues. Students have to best determine the answers. Use this in class with Zoom or Teams for fun! 
• Art Critiques: Post photos, music, etc. and have students complete a traditional "gallery walk" with these images and critique east post. 
• Collaboration Space: Give students the opportunity showcase discussion on a topic and have them share their link. 
• Tour de Learning: Use it as a portfolio for students to highlight concepts that they learned this year. You can provide feedback directly into Padlet. 
• Travel Itinerary: Have students create a plan for travel.

Featured Lesson: Designing an Interactive Timeline

Lesson Description: This lesson aims to hone students’ skills researching and analyzing a historical event, person’s life, or invention. As students investigate selected sources, they will have to evaluate relevant and important information that will help in designing an interactive timeline.
