This is the link to use when you are joining a Kahoot. Students enter their PIN and name at kahoot.it
Create a Kahoot
There is a different link used to create Kahoots OR access the Kahoots that you have already made. This is also the site you use to share your Kahoots with your class. This site is getkahoot.com.
Tips for using Kahoot
- Create a free account
- Create a new Kahoot by clicking on New K!
You can choose between 3 different kinds of kahoots
- Quiz
- Discussion
- Survey
You can also search through thousands of other Kahoots other people have made and use their stuff!
When you're ready hit 'Play' and then 'Launch'
The PIN will be displayed on the screen. Students go to kahoot.it and enter the PIN to join.
Copying a Public Kahoot
Hover over title of Kahoot you want to copy.
Click DUPLICATE.
You can Edit Kahoots you duplicate to tailor to your needs.
Make sure you hit 'Save and Continue' while editing.
Add Cover Image or Video
Fun feature: You can add a cover image or video for students to watch while everyone is joining the Kahoot.
Getting Data
You can get results from how students performed on Kahoot! by clicking on the drop-down menu by your name.
Click on 'My Results'
