Try searching for the name of the person you are researching in World Book Online to find information about childhood, notable events, achievements etc.

 

The Biography section of Student Resources in Context contains reference, magazine, and newspaper articles, as well as images and websites that will cover all the information necessary to complete your project.

A collection of reference e-books, GVRL may have articles with information about the famous person you are researching.

Wikipedia

Wikipedia is a good place to start your research because it will give you the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, and WHY of a topic, it has links to external websites, as well as keywords that are related to your famous person.
