The Tinkering Tianguis: Home

Ti - an - guis (tee-aun-GEESE): from the Spanish language: open-air market or bazaar that is traditionally held on certain market days in a town or city neighborhood in Mexico and Central America.

The Morton West Knowledge Center is excited to introduce you to the Tinkering Tianguis! We serve as an open, collaborative safe space dedicated to promoting student exploration, creativity and learning through STEAM resources. Sign up for technology workshops, arts & crafts events, or come pick up a Take & Make kit.

All of our activities and special events will be held before, during lunch/academic support, and after school. Stay up-to-date with all of our events and programming by checking out our monthly calendar!
